Beginning of Opening Night 2009 Show
Last Year’s Show Opens To The Public – 2009
With an approximate 2,000 individual works of Jade & Stone Art spanning over 8,000 years of History, “Jade Through the Ages” is the New Name chosen for a New Direction to the already Internationally Famous, “Jade Art Now Show”. While the past shows brought in new record crowds and sales each year it was decided by the governing board that the focus for the coming shows should appeal to an even wider audience with more knowledge being shared on the Ancient History of Jade & Stone Artistry, from its inception over 8,000 years ago to the Newest Modern Masterpieces being produced today by some of the greatest jade talent in the world. Past shows have been attended by GIA, Harvard University, The American Natural History Museum of New York and the Smithsonian Institution, among others. Set in a beautiful Gallery and surrounded by ancient artifacts from various cultures this years show will truly be a ‘must see’ for anyone visiting Tucson, Arizona during the ‘Worlds Largest’ Gem and Mineral Show – The Tucson Gem And Mineral Show.
This year there will be over Seven Estate Collections being shown along-with the personal artistic genius of over fifteen of the finest Jade Carvers working in both small and large Nephrite Jade and Jadeite pieces. Many of todays top Jade Artists from around the Globe will be personally attending the show (as they do every year) and along with the considerable expertise from the experts at Antiquities, Plus… and Timeless Jade.com on the artifacts, we believe this will be the Grandest Show we have ever produced. We will also be marketing the Show to various museums and similar institutions of higher learning in hopes of expanding the show and bringing it to different locals across the USA and abroad.
